California Food & Justice Coalition has undertaken a number of exciting campaigns, including engaging communities statewide to craft local and national legislation that puts the health of communities first. Our Farm Bill 2012 Project provides a means for residents to take back their local food system. We are training food-stamp eligible mothers to facilitate dialogue sessions and mobilize their neighborhoods around concerns with health and nutrition. CFJC is also creating online tools that inform how food politics relates to their families’ health and dinner plate as well as co-hosting the 15th Annual Community Food Security Coalition Conference this year.
